Planning Gullwing Door Hinge Fitment
Hinge fitment must follow the specifications for the actual body, door and mounting structure. Use this checklist to prepare the work; it does not prescribe attachment dimensions or a universal installation method.

Confirm the identity of every hinge
Identify the upper front and rear positions, the door side and the required quantity. Compare the proposed parts with the actual specification supplied for the project. A website drawing is a reference image, not a verified dimensional installation drawing.
If you are replacing a part, record the surrounding hardware and any known part identifiers. Explain why the hinge is being replaced and ask for compatibility confirmation. Similar appearance is not enough to establish interchangeability.
Have the mounting structure reviewed
The builder responsible for installation should review the body, door and attachment arrangement along with the hinge. Request the current specification, associated mounting pieces and applicable instructions before planning physical work.
This page intentionally supplies no drilling pattern, reinforcement design, fastener grade or torque figure. Those details need to be determined for the specific assembly by qualified people using appropriate information. They cannot be established from the catalog image.
Coordinate the complete door system
Include the support strut, latch, hook-lock and lock case in the fitting discussion. Ask the workshop which checks it needs to complete across the whole opening and closing system before final finishing is scheduled.
Record any missing brackets, counterpart components or fixings as open items. An installation plan should identify who will supply them and what information is needed, rather than leaving them implicit in the word hardware.
Document the agreed next steps
Keep the confirmed hinge specification, body information and workshop responsibilities together. Ask for any unresolved fitment questions to be answered before proceeding with attachment or final finish work.
For supply enquiries, use the individual upper front and rear hinge pages and explain your actual configuration. The supplier can discuss current components, while installation decisions remain with the project’s responsible builder.
