GULF COAST GULLWING / BODY & COMPONENTS

Gullwing Replica Frame & Chassis

The frame discussion belongs at the start of the project. Share your intended configuration so the body and supporting components can be considered together.

Chassis and tubular structure during assembly of a replica project
Assembly reference. It does not establish a standard supplied chassis specification or certification.

Begin with your actual configuration

Frame and chassis-related solutions are available depending on the intended build. That means the enquiry starts with your project, not a universal fitment claim. Identify the chassis or platform if you already own it, describe modifications, and explain the drivetrain direction you are considering.

If the choice is still open, say so. Asking about body and frame options before purchasing a platform gives the discussion room to address the planned relationship. The fact that another build uses a particular arrangement does not establish compatibility for your project.

Keep dimensions and interfaces in the specification

Your builder needs current, applicable information before making mounting and layout decisions. Ask which specifications are available for the body and frame-related components being considered. Exact dimensions, structural design details and engineering certification are not published on this website.

Treat photographs as assembly references. They show the context beneath a body, but they are not design drawings and should not be used to infer structural adequacy, attachment details or approved drivetrain combinations. The final configuration needs appropriate professional review.

Separate supply from engineering and assembly

A request for frame-related components should make clear which work and parts you want supplied. Distinguish the frame or supporting pieces from the mechanical systems, body mounting, finishing and assembly work performed elsewhere. This keeps the component quote from being mistaken for a complete engineered vehicle package.

No universal chassis fit or engineering certification is claimed. For a build intended for road use, confirm the applicable requirements with the responsible authority and qualified people handling the project. A parts purchase alone does not settle those questions.

  • Current or proposed chassis/platform
  • Drivetrain plans and existing mechanical components
  • Body and cabin requirements to be reviewed
  • Requested frame-related supply scope
  • Who is responsible for design, fitment and assembly

Use the first conversation to resolve unknowns

The contact form asks whether you already have a chassis. Use the message to add the details behind that answer, including any decisions still open. Mention the workshop handling the build and the information it needs before moving forward.

Frame pricing and availability are project-dependent. Include your location and target timeframe so delivery and scheduling questions can be considered. Keep the body kit starting price separate from any frame, running gear or assembly costs until you have a written quotation covering the chosen scope.

Frequently asked questions

Will the body fit any chassis?

No universal fit is claimed. Compatibility is discussed for the actual chassis, drivetrain and body configuration.

Does the starting kit price include a frame?

Frame-related options are project-dependent and discussed separately. Your quotation must explicitly identify any included frame components.
